By ARY Sports -April 15, 20200960
Karachi: Ricky Ponting, considered one of the best batting cricketers in the world, rated the ex-Pakistani player Shoaib Akhtar's spell as the fastest he has ever faced.
A former Australian, he named Andrew Flintoff the other day in 2005 at Edgbaston as the best he has faced in his illustrious career, but the 1999 Akhtar spell in Perth was the fastest he ever faced and not even his partner. Guilty Justin Langer does not want to face Akhtar
"I had a lot of questions the other day after calling [Andrew] Flintoff for the best he had dealt with. This Shoaib Akhtar thing was the fastest spell I faced and I trust myself, Justin didn't back down too much on the other side." , wrote on twitter
Got plenty of questions the other day after calling the Flintoff over the best I'd faced.
This from @shoaib100mph was the fastest spell I'd ever faced and trust me Justin wasn't backing up too far at the other end.
