Introduction to the Quran: The Scripture of Islam

Islam:

Islam is the  last  religon of ALLAH . Hazrat  Muhammd (S.A.W) is the last messanger and prophet of Allah.

QUESTION :

THE QUESTION IS IF THERE ARE ALREADY RELIGONS FROM ALLAH THEN WHY ALLAH SENT ANOTHER RELIGON?

ANSWER:

This  Question is asked by many non muslims and regurarly  asking this question. But Islamic many scholors and religon answered them differently and on their own way.

There came many prophets from ALLAH . And ALLAH sent those prophets toward there people or region to spread message of ALLAH and stop people  from  sins. Give them the proper message that how live .  How to spend there lives in a proper  way .

Religon also teach us the suitable way and best way to servive and  live.
As we know that people from past are different from people come after them . And people from one region are different  from people of other religon . The way they live are totally different.

People from the past are stronger then the people today are. They cannot  follow the rules that past people followed.

So this is the main reason why ALLAH changed the  Religons and books time to time.

Also ALLAH sent prophets to  every region and country that no one remain without religon .

 GABRIEL SAID REYNOLDS:

According to the traditional account, the story of the Quran began in the barren Arabian desert, in surroundings not unlike these. The prophet Muhammad first heard the voice of the angel Gabriel while meditating in a cave in a desert mountain outside of the city of Mecca. To many Muslims, the origins of the Quran in the barren desert environment suggest that it must have come from God. The prophet Muhammad was too far away from the major centers of Judaism and Christianity, so the argument goes, to have been influenced by them.

Yet the Quran is also a text which reflects Judaism and Christianity. It is a text about Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mary, as much as it is a text about Muhammad.

In this course, we will discover this text together. We will explore its themes, reflect on the way it has inspired many through the centuries, look at how many have interpreted the text during that time, and ask ourselves why it has so much to say about the major characters of the Bible.
